Quirky, colourist painting in acrylics of Boats at Crail Harbour. I enjoy painting scenes of the colourful fishing villages of the East Neuk, this painting is of Crail Harbour. The harbour wall is fantastic, hand-built, each stone unique in size, colour and shape. Well worth a visit. In this painting I didn’t focus on the harbour walls, but on making the boats ‘friendly,’ and colourful. Minus all the poles and equipment as I wanted the cottages to be seen clearly.
